hypercopy open in telegram

connect a wallet to hypercopy (rabby, metamask…) or let it create one

the two wallet modes in hypercopy, how walletconnect works from a telegram bot, which wallets are supported, and what changes between your own wallet and a hypercopy wallet.

Hypercopy trades on a hyperliquid account. That account belongs to a wallet, and there are two ways to have one: bring yours, or let hypercopy create one. This page explains both and how to switch.

your own wallet, through walletconnect

Tap activate copy trading on the main menu (or 👛 my wallets → ➕ add a wallet) and choose connect my wallet. Hypercopy shows a walletconnect link and a QR code. Open it with your wallet: it lists rabby first, then metamask, rainbow, trust, zerion, okx, bitget, binance, uniswap, core, exodus, onekey, safepal and 1inch. Approve the session in the wallet.

From then on:

  • your hyperliquid balance and positions show in the bot;
  • deposits and withdrawals are yours to do on hyperliquid, as before; the bot does not move your funds;
  • the one action hypercopy needs is the agent approval signature, which appears in your wallet through walletconnect the first time you copy. It authorises a trading key that cannot withdraw. See agent keys explained.

Hardware wallets work through any of the listed software wallets that support them.

a hypercopy wallet

Choose create a wallet for me. Hypercopy creates an embedded wallet tied to your telegram login through a wallet provider (privy). Nobody at hypercopy has its key; it is created on your side and unlocked by your login. With it:

  • the bot shows deposit addresses and bridges for you: USDC or USDT from arbitrum, base or ethereum, or USDC directly on hyperliquid. See deposit usdc;
  • withdrawals happen from the chat, to your own wallet on hyperliquid (free) or to another chain from $1;
  • signatures (the agent approval, a transfer, a withdrawal) are a tap.

It is the simplest path if you have no wallet, or do not want to expose your main one to a new app.

switching between wallets

Switch wallet in the menu lets you connect another wallet or go back to your hypercopy wallet. Each wallet is its own hyperliquid account with its own copies, balance and agent key. Copies on a wallet keep running when you switch to another one in the chat.

what hypercopy stores

For your own wallet: its address and the agent key hypercopy generated for it, encrypted. For a hypercopy wallet: its address and the same agent key. Never a seed phrase, never a wallet private key.

faq

does hypercopy support solana wallets?

No. Hyperliquid accounts are evm addresses, so the wallet must be an evm wallet.

can i use the same wallet on hyperliquid's app and in hypercopy?

Yes. Hypercopy is an agent on the account; you can still trade by hand, on hyperliquid or from the bot's 📊 trade. A copy never opens or adds on a coin you hold yourself on that wallet, and never takes your add as its own. If you change a coin's margin or leverage setting on hyperliquid while a copy holds it, the bot tells you.

the walletconnect session expired

Reconnect from the same menu. Your copies were not affected: they run on the agent key, not on the walletconnect session, which is only used for signatures.

can i move my hypercopy wallet to another app?

The embedded wallet can be exported from the wallet provider's interface, at your own risk. Most people simply withdraw to their main wallet instead.

copy hyperliquid's best, from telegram.

pick a trader, set your size. hypercopy trades with a key that can never withdraw, and you can stop at any time.
